How To Import Audio Files to Your Web

FrontPage will allow you to import audio files to your web.  You can then create a hyperlink which will open the file.

To Import An Audio File:

• Open your subweb in FrontPage.

• Under Folder list, right click on top of your root folder -- Example: http://staff.fcps.net/yourusername; choose New Folder.

• Change the name of the new folder to Audio; press Enter.

• On the menu bar, choose File; choose Import.

• In the Import dialog box, choose Add File.

• In the Add File to Import List dialog box, locate and select the audio file you want.

• Choose Open.

• Choose OK.
  

To Create A Hyperlink to the Audio File:

• Open the page onto which you want to insert the hyperlink.

• Type the name of the hyperlink -- example: Listen to this!

• Select the text of the hyperlink name.

• Choose the icon with the world-with-the-chainlink: 

• In the Create Hyperlink box, locate the folder where you saved your audio file; choose the audio file.

• Choose OK.

• Save your page.
