Contacting
the Web Team
When
all else fails and you just need to get in touch with a live
person for support, your district web team is ready to lend a
hand. Before you fire off an e-mail or grab the phone, please help
us help you by noting the following information.
What
exactly is the nature of the problem or question? Try to
categorize it in one of the following, then contact the
appropriate person. In so doing, you will ensure that you get the
speediest possible response.
Problems
and issues related to the web server. Examples include:

you
cannot open your website in either a browser or in FrontPage,
but you can see other network resources
-
you
need a subweb renamed
-
you
need to have a file or multiple files restored from a backup
For
these type problems, please contact Maggie Whittington at

Problems
and issues related to the FrontPage program, or general
website issues. Examples include:

you
cannot open your website in FrontPage, but you can open it in
a browser
-
you
need help with assigning permissions or managing subwebs
-
you
need some general guidance with setting up web pages for your
teachers
-
pretty
much anything else related to the FrontPage client not
addressed above
For

than FrontPage. Examples include:

to connect to the network (can't "see" server
resources)
