Introduction
|
In this project you will use the Internet as a resource to locate
information on a particular country in Eastern Europe. Learning how to
appropriately use the Internet as a research tool and to present your
research to the class is an important part of your learning goals. By
combining this with your study of Eastern Europe, you will truly benefit and
improve your learning.
|

Process
|
Look over your worksheet so that you are familiar with all the
information you need to locate. Remember: the
resources will not give information in the same order as your worksheet.
Click on the resources listed above starting at the top and working
your way down. Collect as much information as you can. Take note of
interesting facts even if it is not on the worksheet.
To capture flags or other pictures to make your PowerPoint
presentation more interesting and enjoyable, right click on the object and
save it to a diskette. Be sure to give proper credit in your presentation
when you use pictures or information from your resources.

Teacher Tips
|
When you get into a site you will often have to go further in to get
your information. Always use the Back arrow in the upper left corner to
back out of the site and get back to the WebQuest.
|
Evaluation
|
This project will count as a major test grade. You will be graded on
your effort, your serious approach to this project, the notes you collect
and your final report.
|
Conclusion
|
As learners we must take advantage of many different resources. Not
everything on the Internet is reliable - just as not everything you read
in the newspaper is true. You must learn to use your own judgment, compare
several different sources to see if they are reporting the same
information and consider the reputation of the source.
