Introduction
|
By studying other nations and their people
and cultures, we can learn how to better appreciate people who are
different from ourselves.
|
Task
|
Each student will research a particular
country in North Africa or the Middle East. As you complete your research, you will prepare nine slides for a
PowerPoint presentation. Your
nine slides will be combined
with those of your classmates, and one large class presentation will be
made. You will then view the class presentation to learn what your
classmates found in their research.

Conclusion
|
By understanding that people have backgrounds
quite different from our own, we can hopefully understand why not everyone
acts and behaves just like us. This is important so that we can all learn
to get along with each other.
