Autosignature

Everyone should add an autosignature to their email. Occasionally we send an email to someone who does not know us.  Therefore if you have programmed Outlook to add your signature automatically, everyone you correspond with will know who has sent the message.  The signature should include your full name, your title, where you work,  your phone number, and your email address.
Example:

Follow these steps:

·          Open Outlook

·          Choose Tools

·          Then Options

·          Select the Mail Format tab at the top of the window.

·          Click the Signature Picker button at the bottom

·          Choose New

·          Next

·          Type in the signature that you want to show up in your email

·          Then Finish, OK and OK again.

You might want to send yourself an email as a practice run to see if it shows up and looks the way you want it to.  You can always go back in and edit it.

It's not about technology in the classroom,
it's about creating a learning environment that teaches students how to share thoughts, participate and experience ...
not just listen.
