How May I Help You?

Will “get organized” be one of your resolutions for 2004?  There are tons of ways to get organized on your computer.  I’d be delighted to help you set up a filing system, organize your email, or help you in ways that you want to get organized.  Just send me an email or call me for an appointment!

 How can I help YOU!

Tech Tip

If it is REALLY important, save it in a folder on your desktop.  It’s EASY:

  1. Right click on an open space on your desktop.
  2. A menu will appear, and you will want to click on “New.”
  3. A second menu will pop out and you click on “Folder.”
  4. A folder will appear and the words “New Folder” will be highlighted in blue.
  5. Just type the name of the folder.  Your typing will replace the words “New Folder.”

This is a great way to organize critical or temporary files.  When you no longer need the contents of the folder, it is easy to file the folder in “My Documents” or the “Recycle Bin.”

K-12:  It’s baaaaaaack!  First they put up a bank of reading open response questions.  Recently, the password protected Open Response Bank came back.  From what we can figure, some parts of it are still missing, but we’ll up date you when we find them.  With the link above, you do need the password orq2003.  You do not need passwords for the reading section mentioned in a previous newsletter.
