How
May I Help You?
What is one of the most powerful 21st Century methods to
communicate with your student's families? It's the
classroom web page! If you are looking for some
great ideas for your web pages, you probably need to look no
further than the schools in Fayette County. Each week,
more and more classroom web sites appear. You can find
links to the school web sites from the FCPS site: http://www.fcps.net
Are you looking for some great web activities to link to your
classroom web pages? I have some excellent links located
at:

information, I'd be delighted to help. Just send me an
email!

Tech
Tip:
Did you know you can extend the life of the CD drive on your
computer? This could be an important tip to know as
technology funds shrink, and we'll need to make our equipment
last longer! Many brands of computers have a button on
or near the CD drive to BOTH open
and close the drive. I recently learned from some
technology students that it is better to use the button to
both open and close CD drive. I have been guilty of
using the button to open the CD drive, but then pushing it
shut with my hand. But I know better now!
