How May I Help You?

Is there a piece of software you want to learn how to use?  Did you hear about a technology idea you want to try, but you don't know where to start?  Is there a program you have been using for a while, but you want to take it to a higher level?   I can meet with you individually to help you reach your goals.   Depending upon what you want to learn, we may just need a few minutes before or after school together.  Other times, we may want to meet during part of your planning time.  Just send me an email, and set up a time so I can help you reach your goals!

District Technology Assessment

Each year our district performs a District Technology Assessment (DTA).  Currently, the Technology Resource Teachers (TRTs) use informal "Walk Through" observations three times a year in September, January, and again in April or May.  The data we collect helps us to learn about technology use in the classroom, and assists us in planning job embedded professional development.

Want to learn more about what we are looking for on the DTA "Walk Throughs?"   We use the Apple Classrooms of Tomorrow (ACOT) scale.  To see examples of classroom instruction based on the ACOT, go to "The Stages of Teaching with Technology": http://teach.fcps.net/stt/index.htm
