How May I Help You?

Ahhhh!  The dreaded evaluation may be upon you sooner than you think.  To complicate matters, the use of technology in the classroom is a BIG part of both the Kentucky Experienced Teacher Standards and the Kentucky New Teacher Standards.  While colleges prepare new teachers to incorporate technology in the classroom learning environment, veteran teachers frequently forget that they are being evaluated on the use of technology while they teach lessons in the classroom.  The beautiful lessons you demonstrated for your principal in years past will not pass muster according to today's standards.

It would be my pleasure to collaborate with you as you prepare for your observation.  I can assist you with technology integration ideas for any subject area. As you get closer to your observation, I can even help you to set up and/or practice your use of technology.

Assessing Your Needs

During the next month, I will be giving you a couple of really quick surveys to fill out.  The first brief survey will help us to identify your strengths and weaknesses on Experienced Teacher Standard 10 or New Teacher Standard 9.  I will follow that with another quick survey to learn about your technology goals and learning preferences.
