How May I Help You?

Do you need some web sites or web based activities to enhance one of your units?  It would be my pleasure to research available resources for you.  I've assisted teachers with web resources for almost any topic or content area you can think of!  Just email a topic request to me a couple of weeks before you need them.  When I get a few minutes between appointments, I can research your topic!

How may I help YOU?????

Need help with United Streaming?  I was at one of the pilot schools last year, and I would be glad to help you!!!!

Collecting Items for the Soldiers

FCSAA (Fayette County Schools Administrators' Association) is collecting items to send to the solders.  I'll be taking items to the Administrators Meeting on Sept. 15th.  According to the one of our members,  Heather Bell (Writing Resource Teacher) , some if the items they need are:

  1. Chapstick

  2. Sunscreen

  3. Toilet paper (apparently the quality is lacking)

  4. Batteries (all sizes)

  5. Note cards and stationary

  6. Pens

  7. Gum and Candy

  8. Wet Wipes (they actually refer to these as dry showers)

  9. Magazines and books (any kind; used are just as good as new. If folks bring magazines from home make sure that they black our their names and addresses)

  10. Powdered Drinks (Kool-Aid, Gatorade... they get water and it is convenient for them to carry around dry mix and add it to their bottles of water)

If you would like to help , I can pick up items the next time I am at your school.

Have a safe and happy
Labor Day holiday!

PRIMARY:  This is a fun way for students to make patterns.  This activity could be done as a large or small group lesson.  Students could practice making patterns in a center or lab setting.  A special thanks to TRT, Dayna Lykins, for sharing this site.
