How May I Help You?

Have you ever worked on a collaborative project with another class?  They are a great way to engage students and enhance learning in any content area.  Thanks to the wonders of technology, we can do collaborative projects with student email, student forums, and numerous national and international projects.  If you are interested in participating in a collaborative project, please email me at bbarr@fayette.k12.ky.us or call my cell phone at 494-3607.  Together we can explore some marvelous possibilities.

Tech Tip

Lately I have had a lot of requests for help in setting up an autosignature ("auto sig") in Outlook.  Thanks to TRT Kim Overstreet, I have some easy directions:

"If you would like to add an autosignature to all of your email  follow these simple steps:

·          Open Outlook

·          Choose Tools

·          Then Options

·          Select the Mail Format tab at the top of the window.

·          Click the Signature Picker button at the bottom

·          Choose New

·          Next

·          Type in the signature that you want to show up in your email

·          Then Finish, OK and OK again.

You might want to send yourself an email as a practice run to see if it shows up and looks the way you want it to.  You can always go back in and edit it."

If I can help you with this,
please let me know!
