Did
You Know?
Did
you know you can go to http://www.meijer.com/bts
and post your school supply list for next year? They will
compile the list and post the list in-store for those students
who do not have access to a computer. Each teacher who does
this will be entered into a drawing for a $100 Meijer gift
card. 10 teachers will be picked.

Summer Learning
Jean
Williams (Special Ed. & Co-STC at Yates) has a special
needs student who needs summer reinforcement with the
alphabet. She is making a video tape for the student to
watch during vacation. On the tape, school staff members
will hold a letter of the alphabet and say sentences repeating
the letter name. What a great way to support student
learning with technology!
Thanks
for the Memories
I can't
believe it's almost over! This year has flown so
fast. I can't begin to tell you how much I have enjoyed
working with you this year. Getting to work with super
people like you is one of the reasons why being a TRT is the
best job I've ever had!
As many
of you know, the Instructional Technology Department is
expanding, and we are adding a number of new TRTs. This
means that you will have more time and attention from your TRT,
because we will have more staff available to the
schools. It also means that I will have some changes in
the schools that I will help. I do not yet know which
schools I will serve next year.
Thank
you for providing me the opportunity to be apart of your
staff. It has been such a pleasure to share these last
two years with you!
Have
a safe and happy summer!
Barbara
