Congratulations to the STLPs at Harrison, Lansdowne, and Yates!
They had   wonderful booths at the FCPS Tech Fair!

Great Things are Happening

Sherry Basore's Second Graders (Yates) recently completed Success With Keyboarding.  A number of her students have been clocked at 20 - 25 words per minute by Cathy Meccariello in the lab!

Second Graders in Beth Fritz's class (Harrison) learned about "production" and other aspects about Economics from: http://www.econedlink.org/lessons/
index.cfm?LessonTypeID=1

In Freda Asher's fifth grade class (Lansdowne), the students are reviewing what they have learned this year in preparation for testing.  Students are retelling important events in American History through projects such as plays, reports, PowerPoints, posters, or video.

TEACHER TAKE HOME PRIVILEGES INCLUDED IN VOLUME LICENSING FOR KIDSPIRATION & INSPIRATION

With a volume license, schools and districts enjoy Teacher Take Home Privileges that allow teachers to load Kidspiration and Inspiration at home for lesson planning and training purposes. And if there are two things FCPS buys in volumes, it's Kidspiration & Inspiration.

Have a
safe and happy
Spring Break!
