So Little Time!
So Much to Do!
We are running out of time to
schedule keyboarding classes before the end of the year.
Remember that all third grade classes need to take
keyboarding, and all fourth and fifth should continue to
review. The district goal for the end of 5th grade is
a minimum of 20 words per minute. Last year we started
seeing middle schools asking for keyboarding scores of
incoming 6th graders. To
set up keyboarding in your classroom, just e-mail or call me
(797-5702). You will also want to check on the
availability of the AlphaSmarts.

All You Need To Know
About Life, You Can Learn From A Leprechaun
|
Note:
I sent this out last year, but I have had several requests
to send it again! |
|
Life
is too short for LONG faces.
When
you are happy, sing;
When you are sad, sing LOUDER! Expect
miracles to happen, and they will! If
you can't find a Rainbow; paint your own. The
word "impossible" is not an Irish word. Never
walk so tall that you can't see the wee folk. If
you're feeling blue, wear lots of green and think hopeful thoughts. No
one ever outgrows the need for warm hugs, special dreams, or a wee
bit o' mischief. Quit
trying to catch a Leprechaun, and just be one!
|
Have
a happy-go-lucky St. Patrick's Day!
May
the luck of the Irish be with you!
