How May I Help You?

Web Sites of the Week

Do you have enough time?  If you answered yes, are you telling the truth?  We don't have enough time to teach all we need to teach, and it is so hard to add one more thing.  But there are tons of very simple ways to use technology while you are still teaching with the same teaching strategies you have been using all along.

It would be my pleasure to meet with you and provide a few simple tricks to use technology more in your teaching.  Just send me an email, or touch base with me the next time I am at your school!.  We can set up a time to meet and collaborate on ideas.

Time is Running Out

If you have not yet scheduled a time to work on Keyboarding with your students, time is running out.  Remember that ALL 3rd graders need keyboarding, and 4th and 5th need review.  Middle schools are checking on the keyboarding skills of incoming students, so we need to insure all 5th graders meet the district goal of a minimum of 20 words per minute.  I'd be delighted to get your class started with keyboarding, or to demonstrate activities and games for reinforcement.

ST. PATRICK'S DAY LINKS

ALL ELEMENTARY/TEACHERS:  Young students just seem to love learning through holiday activities.  Holiday activities are a great way to teach or review concepts in our Competency Assurance.  These links include pictures for the little ones, and teacher resources.

PHONICS FUN AND GAMES

K-6:  Phonics games and reinforcement activities for all elementary grades. This would be a great activity at a center or in the lab.
