Oobleck, Anyone?

Have you ever made Oobleck?  Did you know this is a CLASSIC science experiment, and that you can tie in  Kentucky math and science standards!  While this may not be on your Curriculum Map for this week, Dr. Seuss will only have one 100th birthday!

Here is a great recipe shared by Barbara Carter, Media Specialist at Arlington:

ALL ELEMENTARY:  This is a kid friendly biography of the great doctor.  NOTE:  This was apparently developed last year, and says it's Dr. Seuss's 99th birthday, not his 100th!  Oh well, makes a good math lesson for the class!  Thank you Barbara Carter (Arlington) and Diane Culbertson (Curriculum/Technology Resource Teacher at Jennie Rogers Elementary School in Danville) for this link!
