How The Lion Got His Stripes

Once
there was a lion and he went to a bear’s house. And he asked the bear “Do
you have my stripes?” said the lion. “No, I do not,” said the bear. The
lion went on until he met a cat. “Do you have my stripes?” said the lion.
“No” said the cat “but I have some whiskers and a big black tail and I do
not think your looking at the right animal because I don’t have your stripes”
and then the lion went on. He met a
cheetah and the cheetah asked him what he was looking for.
The lion said “Do you know where my stripes are?” The cheetah said,
“I have your stripes. So the cheetah gave the lion his stripes.
