This was adapted from the Web Quest created by

It was originally done to create a slide show presentation with many composers in mind. This quest will use only Mozart, Beethoven and Haydn. So limit your research to them. Also, some of their original sites no longer worked, so I have substituted sites that do work. Should time permit, when you complete the scavenger hunt, go to the slideshow presentation directions and begin creating the presentation and complete as much of it as you can today saving it to your home drive.

Task

You are going to learn about famous composers and the times in which they lived.  Then you will create a slide presentation on two composers who come from the same period of music history.

Which composer did you find the most interesting?  Be prepared to list your reasons

Process

1.Begin to gather your facts by using the links below and by visiting the Scavenger Hunt Page.   When you find an interesting fact, write it down in one of your squares on the folded paper.  If it doesn't fit in the square, it probably won't fit in the slide.  Keep facts brief and to the point.  Cite the sources where your gathered your information. You will use this later in the creation of slideshow, if time permits. You will need the URL(the Internet address) of the site where you are getting your information.
