A New Museum for the ARTS

 

Introduction

    A new museum is being built which will showcase the ARTS of the 20th century.  This museum wants to highlight art, music, dance, theater and literature. The staff is being assembled with the task of selecting the centerpieces for each of these disciplines showcasing them in the 20th century.

Task

       The Curator of the new National Museum of the Arts has selected you to as a  member of the staff. Remember the museum must reflect the ARTS of the 20th century. You are to select those items which you feel best represent the 20th century in these disciplines: art, music, dance, theater, literature. The Curator wants an explanation of why these pieces were selected.
