• Ocean Planet - from Discovery School - Find fun facts about the ocean and animals that live there.
• Temperate Oceans - tons of information on oceans and ocean animals!
• Tropical Oceans (Coral Reefs) - find lots of great information, especially on tropic ocean animals!
• Who's Who in the Ocean Zones - information on ocean animals divided by the ocean zone they live in
• WorldBook Online - type in the name of the animal or ocean that you want to learn about (See your teacher for the password.)

Webquests and Online Activities

• Squish the Fish - learn how animals use shape, size, camouflage and more to protect themselves (GREAT activity for K-2)
• Oceanography ABC Book Webquest - create an ABC Book using ocean vocabulary
• The Ocean's in Trouble - Webquest for 4th - 6th.  Students will have the opportunity to explore why oceans are "in trouble" by visiting websites about oil pollution, plastics, and endangered animals. They will be asked to look for relationships between humans, animals, and the ocean.
