Addition

Addition up to 10 Activities

  • Farm Addition - a Funschool game; correctly add up groups of baby chicks; addition with pictures
  • Paint Brush Math - complete basic addition problems to figure out how to color a paint by number picture
  • Farmer Fred's Counting Fun - solve the basic addition rhyme and answer questions
  • Basic Addition Mini Lesson - a GREAT interactive way to demonstrate basic addition.  Create your own problems by clicking on the numbers you want to add.  See the numbers represented by bugs, then find the sum.  Use the game link to play with already generated problems.
  • Interactive Addition Worksheet - simple online activity, much like a worksheet where students mark the correct answer.  Can be timed and you can choose which numbers to work on.
  • AAAMath Addition - several simple exercises ranging in difficulty
  • Millennium Bug Race - 2 players compete to answer the most problems correctly first; Lowest number and highest number used can be chosen for any range of problems

Higher Addition

  • Batter's Up Baseball - choose the level of difficulty of the addition problem to determine how many bases you get - starts simple with addition up to 20
  • Two Play Math Game - a simple flash card-type game covering double + single digit addition that allows two people to compete
  • Card Castle Addition - A poem to spark interest in finding all the ways to add up to 14; includes activity page
  • Memory Addition - practice addition up to 20, Memory style.
  • Mystery Picture Game - practice addition up to 20 by matching equations and answers to uncover a picture
