Here are several tricks and tips to help make life easier when using Microsoft Word.

Editing in Print Preview

To edit text in print preview, simply click on the Magnifier button in the Print Preview toolbar. Then just click and type in your document.

Displaying the Margins

To display your margins when typing in Word just click on:

• Click on View, then Page Layout to display your page in Layout view.
• Click on Tools, then Options. Click on the View tab.
• Under Print and Web Layout Options, check text boundaries.
• Click OK.

Quickly Replace Text

Stop wasting keystrokes! To replace text in Word, just highlight the text you want to replace and type in your new text. It will automatically replace the old with the new.

Select a Single Word or Paragraph

To select a single word in your document, just double-click on the word and it will be highlighted. To select a paragraph, triple-click anywhere in the paragraph.
