everyday we have to eat there are many foods to choose from and we have to make sure we pick the right food to eat
the food pyramid shows us the right things to eat and the amount of each kind of food to eat we are suppose to eat more servings of the bread group than any other food group
from the bread group we are to eat 6-11 servings a day the food pyramid tells us we should eat 3-5 servings of vegetables a day
a serving of meat would be about the size of your fist or a deck of cards it is also easy to measure about a cup by looking at your fist to decide how much cheese to eat think about 4 dice you use to play games
you need 2-3 servings of meat or beans a day and 2-3 servings of dairy a day
