3. Video
4. Watch the Video file “Internet Safety: Pitfalls and Dangers.” (You might have to install the program to play the movie.)
5. After watching the movie, open Microsoft Publisher
6. Choose Newsletters on the left
7. Choose the Color Band style
8. Delete the written information but do not delete the text boxes.
9. Your newsletter must have the things listed on the checklist.
10. When you are finished get a paper copy of the checklist according to where your teacher instructs you to get . You must check off the checklist to make sure you are finished.
11. You must have someone else check off the checklist for you.
12. Print, write your name and your homeroom teacher’s name on the back.
13. Staple rubric to upper left of newsletter and lay on the printer table.
Note: A minute will be taken if an incomplete or poor work with no details is turned in and has to be returned to be redone.

Your Newsletter is finished when: · Includes 2 articles either fiction or true about Internet Safety. · Each article includes facts, rules or advice about Internet safety. · Includes a list of rules or tips about Internet safety. · Title for each article and list. · Titles are capitalized correctly. Write 3 capitalization rules on back of this paper. See online for help. · List is bulleted · Title (name) of Newsletter · “Glendover” is filled in for the place of business. · Other unnecessary information has been deleted. · Your name is not on front but handwritten on back You & your friend that checked sign back of this. |
