Ever seen the movies where a hero or even an evil person goes back in time and prevents an historical event from happening only to find out it would have changed our lives as we know it because it never happened? If Bill Gates had not invented Microsoft, would you be doing this assignment right now?
Your Assignment
Use the Internet to research an event that occurred in American History that caused lives to change thereafter.
Write a news article for your newsletter made with publisher that will explain the event and describe life before and after the event. You also need to include a date or period of time. Add a prediction of what you think it might be like today had this event not occurred.
