I can view the
Spy Guys video to find out how fractions become decimals and are compared,
then create 2 equal size grids in a MS Word document to show equivalent decimals.
Follow the steps below:
1. Go to the Spy Guys site and watch and answer the questions on the complete video.
2. After you have finished the video, open Microsoft Word.
3. Create two square tables of the same size.
4. Make 10 squares in one table and 100 squares in the other table.
5. Shade in a same amount in each square.
6. Identify (tell) the fraction and decimal amount shaded in each square. (These should be equivalent fractions and equivalent decimals.) If you don't remember how to do this, view the Spy Guys video again.
