*Make sure you take off the lens cap before you take a picture.

*When you let the batteries charge overnight, you will have approximately 3-5 hours of power.  Depending on how many pictures you take and how many times you turn it on and off.

Using a disk? Return to menu

*Insert the disk until it clicks.  The disk will hold about 18 pictures when the camera is NOT set on "refine" or the larger size.

Menu on the camera   Return to menu

*Access the menu by switching to "Play"

*Use the round button in the back of the camera to work your way through the menu.

*Depress the side of the button for the arrow direction you want to travel through the menu.  When you want to make a choice, depress the center of the button.

Taking a picture  Return to menu

*Slide the play button to the right.  For the some cameras the button will have a video choice.  This allows you to make short videos.  You will be able to see a live view when ready to take a picture or video.

*Some cameras only have a LCD view while others give you a choice of a site hole also.  The LCD view uses the power of the batteries faster.

*The button to take a picture is located at the top of the front of the camera so that your right hand can shoot the picture.

Now, what do you do with the picture?  Return to menu

The files with a blue mark are the pictures. You can double click on these files to view them (they will usually view in Internet Explorer).

*To rename the file to make it easier to track:  Right click on the file and a little box will appear around the name.  Type in the name you want to call the file.

Using your pictures in various computer programs.

*All MS programs work basically the same when you want to add (insert) a picture to them.
