I've moved to Glendover Elementary
and back teaching in the computer lab. Wonderful! I have each class
in the building once every 6 days for 50 minutes. Students are provided a
task whereby they have to use tech skills to learn about, investigate, research
or practice content. Check out the lesson plans on the main page of
"Joy of Teaching Technology in the
Classroom."
You'll be able to keep up with sites we use this year
in the computer lab by going to

Sites I've used a lot so far this year:
Brainy Betty has
created and collected a ton of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint templates and
graphics. You will also find various backgrounds to use in PowerPoint and
on web pages. One of our teachers like to present flashbacks, daily
questions, to her student via power points and she wanted different backgrounds
to use.
