Tech Tip

Want to make it easy to get to "The Joy of Teaching" web site?  There are many ways you can make the page accessible.  Try one or all of the following depending on how quick, fast and often you need to access the page.

1.  Your Home Page is the page the browser first shows when it is opened.

*Find the page you want to be your home page.

        *Click on Tools, Internet Options.

        *Use Current

2.  Your link bar, if its activated, will be found usually under your tool bar.  Sometimes it just says link and you drop it down.  You can put various sites that you often use on the link bar so you can go to it with one click if the entire link bar is visible.

*Find the page you want to put on link bar.

*Click on the blue E (if you are using Internet

            Explorer) in the Address box.

*Simply drag the blue E to the link bar.

3.  For sites that are revisited but not often, you can put them in the Favorites folder.  When you find the page, drop down Favorites on the tool bar and choose Add.  You can change the name if you like.  To retrieve those sites, just click on the Favorites icon.
