    Bonnie Orthmeyer's (Linlee) second grade class is finishing "How To Plant a Seed" Brochure using the Word template (Click cancel on the permission window) provided on the home page of this site.  

NEWSFLASH

STLP Gold Schools 

- During KTLC at Louisville, Arlington, Johnson and Mary Todd Elementary were recognized as STLP Gold Schools!!!!!!!!  A Power Point scrap book was submitted for each school to show they had accomplished every thing listed in a rubric that can be found @ http://www.kde.state.ky.us/oet/customer/stlp/gold.asp.

These schools will be added to the list of STLP Gold schools across the state.  For more information visit the KDE STLP web site.  Also look for the new STLP logo.

Literacy First Idea

     Sadlier-Oxford has several interactive games you might like students to use for phonetic practice/drill.  The games are grouped by grade level and most are named according to skill.  

     You might want to check out the other subject areas as well.
