Kelli Little's 5th grade class at Mary Todd elementary are working on the Weather Challenge. Wonder who will win? 

Are you trying to learn the types of clouds? (Its the first thing on the list)  You might want to use the Clouds power point to discuss types of clouds with students or download the power point and have students to complete the power point. 

Several sites have been added to the Solar System section on "Teacher's Request".  Check out the last 14 or so on the list.  (Newest sites will be at the end of the list.)  Primary teachers might want to check out the "Things in the Sky" Jeopardy at review time.

Digital Storytelling

Students Flourish with Digital Storytelling an article from Digital Storytelling, inc.

 

Although the Digital Storyteller site was developed as a contest sponsored by Bellsouth and South Carolina ETV for South Carolina teachers and students, it offers some excellent tips, ideas and support for digital storytelling projects.  To quote the site, "It is common to hear teachers marvel at how much time students will spend on creating media as opposed to a traditional term paper.  They do it because they love it."
