              Cori Duty, third grade teacher at Arlington has been working on her Weather PET project.  To help her students review the information she created a weather power point.

• Word Study is a category added to Teacher Requests.  Check out 3 games that provided scrambled letter games.  Its been placed in the Literacy Box.  Check out these interactive games.  Be careful, they're addictive.

Writing 

• Using www.gigglepotz.com on the Teacher Helpers page, I found a list of characters and settings that might spark students imagination when they get writer's block.  Start a word document on your class computer for students to add to the character and settings list as they think of them throughout the day.  Later students can retrieve this document when they need some ideas.
