In Class

Teresa Burke's class at Johnson has finished an Explorer's unit which included creating "Trading Cards" using the Internet for research and Power Point to create the cards. For more information check out this month's TIPS "Through Student Eyes".

Bonnie Orthmeyer's class at Linlee created a movie with SpinPhotoObject of a solid changing to a liquid.  Pictures were taken at 1 minute intervals to record the change.  While students were performing this experiment each step of the scientific process was recorded by each student.  You can find a similar movie here.  Please allow time for download

Carole Bailey's class at Mary Todd is also studying the three states of matter.  A Power Point was used for instruction and practice drill. Students determine the state of matter of objects in pictures.  Also some open response questions were discussed in this power point.

Judy Olson at Arlington is using Power Point to help students understand sequencing of time events.
