The details of a life cycle are different for different organisms.TLW view Animal Life Cycles video from United streaming then use Kidspiration to demonstrate the animal cycles seen in the video. |
AH-E-3.1.43 (Begin to) Improvise to tell stories that show action and have a clear beginning, middle and end.
TLW use the characters in Kidspiration to illustrate their story as they tell it orally.

Reading AH-E-3.1.31 (Begin to) Identify and discuss the dramatic elements (plot or story line, beginning, middle, and end) in plays. TLW use the Wiggle Works program to listen to a Reading Counts stories then participate in whole class to answer the Reading Counts test.

Structure and Function SC-E-3.1.3 Each plant or animal has structures that serve different functions in growth, survival, and reproduction. For example, humans have distinct body structures for walking, holding, seeing, and talking. Survival SC-E-3.3.2 The world has many different environments. Distinct environments support the life of different types of organisms. When the environment changes, some plants and animals survive and reproduce and others die or move to new locations.
RD-E-4.0.7 Follow directions in a passage. TLW create a power point that describes characteristics of an animal and how those characteristics help that animal to adapt and survive in its habitat. |
