Putting Your Newsletter on Your Webpage

If you made your newsletter with publisher:

These directions for Fayette County Public School staff

 

  1. Open your newsletter you have made. 

  2. Edit

  3. Select all

  4. Edit

  5. Copy

  6. Start (green button at bottom of screen)

  7. all programs

  8. Microsoft Front Page

  9. File

  10. Open WEB (don’t click on the one that just says OPEN)

  11. Click in folder name box

  12. type the following:  http://staff.fcps.net/jdoe     (your username is attached to the end)

  13. Wait for a “Name and Password Required” window to appear

  14. In the USERNAME box type the following: kprice

  15. In the PASSWORD box type the password you use to get to your email.

  16. OK

  1. Make sure you can see the FOLDERS LIST to the left. 

    1. If you can’t go to #18. 

    2. If you can go to #20

  2. To view the folders list on the left Click on VIEW at the top of the screen.

  3. Folder list

  1.  Double click on newsletter.htm (or whatever you named your newsletter page) in the folders list on the left of your screen. 

  2. Edit

  3. Select All

  4.  Delete (button on your keyboard)

  5.  Edit

  6.  Paste (you should see the newsletter appear that you copied earlier.)
