Collect pictures of as many different kinds of animals as you can. You can cut them out of magazines (ask your parents before you cut up a magazine), or print them from the Internet. A good place to find pictures on the Internet is at http://www.animalpicturesarchive.com/ . This is a no-brainer homework. We are just trying to collect a lot of pictures for an activity in science class. However, after you get several cut out, you might want to practice sorting them into groups we talked about in class.
Extra: If you find an interesting fact about an animal, write it down and bring it to class to share. We'll start a poster of interesting facts about animals. Can you find out how they are adapted to their habitat?
3. Get the AUP signed so we can start working on the computers at school! Yea!!!

It also provided information on how to do some of the problems/activities as well as answers to homework (You might want to hide that) which may help you guide your child's homework. HOWEVER, it is hoped that information is covered well enough in class so each child can do the work without help. If this is not the case, the teacher needs to know, please.
