Introduction:

Native Americans were the first Americans.  They have lived in the United States for a very long time.  Native Americans have a culture all their own.  They use what they have to eat, build a shelter and make clothing.

Task:

In this web quest, you have been sent back in time to study an Indian culture.  When you return, you will need to share with your class what you have learned about that Indian culture's food, shelter, clothing, tools, family organization, values, and religion/beliefs. You will create a Venn diagram and a three dimensional display representing the information that you have found to share with your class.

Process:

Your teacher will assign a culture.

Find out these things:
Where your Indian culture's tribes lived.
Food that they eat.
The kind of house that they lived in.
They kind of clothes they wore.
The tools they used.
Did they live with extended family? (Aunt, Uncles, Grandparents)
What did the women, men and children do?
What did they value and believe?

Use this fact sheet to help you.

You will need to make a three dimensional presentation that also includes this information to share with your class.  Have fun!
