Between the Lions Each week
a new story is featured for students to read. The story has related
activities called 'adventures'. The site is funded in part by a Ready to Learn grant
from the US Department of Education.

latest Caldecott Medal winners and honor books as well as access to a

Cinderella
Stories - Elementary and Middle School students combine web use
and literature with the help of this site. This site will assist in
the study of Cinderella tales around the world. Students can compare
and contrast different versions to infer what these differences might
suggest about the culture associated with each story. You might
begin with a read aloud of Mufaro's Beautiful Daughters by John
Steptoe.
