 Lexington Public Library 
    
*  Join one of the 10 Online Book Clubs sponsored by the LPL.  http://www.chapteraday.com/library/lexington/index.html These are appropriate for middle and high school students and staff.  Every day participants will receive a five minute portion of a published book published though e-mail.  Read at home, at work, or at school. 
     *  Live Homework Hotline has new hours:  2:00pm to midnight.  To get into the Help line at http://www.lexpublib.org/databases/login.cfm?dbname=tutor users need to have a LPL Library card.
     *  September 10th  - 4:00-5:30 - Come meet the new director, Kathleen Imhoff at Southern Elementary School Library.
    

World Book Online  
WB has made some changes in its online format.  This district paid source is now called the World Book Online Reference Center and can be used within the fayette domain seamlessly at http://www.worldbookonline.com/.  To explore the changes, look for What's New.  You can preview from the EXPLORE link a capsule of  the site's new look and features.  You will find a link to this from the intranet page at http://intranet.fcps.net/intrahome.asp  
  

Titlewave
    *  Take note of the updates to Follett's Titlewave website.  Upon logging into the site, using the 'Curriculum' tab, you will find the following assistance for collection development based on Kentucky and National Standards.
