Processing News
     *  ONLY purchase orders for print and non-print library resources are allowed to be sent through Media Services.

1.  This means that POs from 610 (supplies)
are to be generated at the school with financial services mailing them.  The merchandise is to be sent directly to your library.  You will be responsible for checking it in and dealing with the vendor if items are not correct.  Also, it will be the responsibility of the school to make sure the invoice is paid.
                          2.  Your general rule of thumb is that if the items either get processed into the database and labeled at Media Services or are magazines which require an attached list mailed to the vendor, the PO must be sent to Media Services for mailing to the vendor.

     *  As of October 29th, the Media Technicians have processed 12580 books and  881 AV items for our school libraries this year.  Everyone seems to be doing well on getting that money spent so students can have new resources to use this school year.
