Do you have problems highlighting a long passage sometimes where the mouse seems to either get a small part of the passage or goes too quickly all the way down the page? I've had the same problem and when I was asked recently by someone how to fix this, I gave her my solution, but I also got several other solutions from the people I work with. Here are some of them. (Now my favorite is Mark D.'s solution at the bottom.)

I have the same problem and the way I solve it is to reduce the size of the page I'm looking at to 50% so I see the whole page. (There's a percentage drop down on the toolbar at the top.)

Another person I work with uses a different method. Put your cursor at the beginning of where you want to highlight and then hit the F8 function key at the top of your keyboard. Then use the arrow keys on the keyboard to highlight the part you want.

I just asked Mark DiMascio (the resident guru) and he said you can hold the shift key down and use the arrow keys to highlight. Or even put your cursor at the beginning, hold shift down and click at the end of the passage and it will be highlighted.

Thanks for asking this question, I've just learned some new stuff myself!

I hope this helps.
