Web Folders Repair Utility  -- Windows 2K

One problem with installing Win2K is not having the option to create a web folder in FrontPage.  To solve this, do the following:

• Navigate to c:\winnt\system32

Make sure you have Show Hidden Files turned on.  If not,

• Choose Tools, Folder Options, View tab
• Choose Show hidden files and folders

• Choose OK

Next,

• Locate the webfldrs.msi file, and double-click it. 

NOTE: if there is no webfldrs.msi file, then locate the webfldrs file, and double-click it

• Choose Reinstall

• Restart the computer after installation has completed.

After this repair utility has been run, open FrontPage and create the web folder.
