How I Log Onto My Classroom Web Pages

What is my password to gain access to our website?

The account you use to access your website is your Fayette NT account; in other words, the same account you use to access your email. Whatever user ID and password that is will also work for your website.

PLEASE NOTE:  If you are logging onto your website from your home computer or any computer outside of the FCPS network, you will have to use fayette\ in front of your user name.  Example:  fayette\jdoe  The \ slash is the ONLY one which will work.

The FIRST time you log onto your class web pages, do the following:

• Open FrontPage

• Choose File, Open Web
  ** Make sure the Look In: box says either Web Folders or My Network Places. (The first time you try to log on, it will probably say My Webs.) 
  ** If it says My Webs, choose either Web Folders or My Network Places at the bottom of the lower left-hand column. (Then that will appear in the Look In: box.)

• In the Folder Name: box, type the URL of your class website - EXAMPLE: http://staff.fcps.net/jdoe 

• Choose Open
  ** This will bring up the box asking for your username and password.

• Put in username and password. Choose OK

• Choose Open
   

The NEXT time you log onto your class web pages, do the following:

• Open FrontPage

• Choose File, Open Web
  ** There will be a web folder in the large white space which has a folder with a world on it followed by something like, jdoe on staff.fcps.net 

• Double click on that web folder.
  ** This will bring up the box asking for your username and password.

• Put in username and password. Choose OK

• Choose Open
