In order to better meet the technology educational needs of the students, Athens Elementary has created a Literacy and Technology Center.

Regular Features:

     TIPS, the Technology Newsletter, published online September-May, is designed to help you integrate the use of technology into your classroom. TIPS is written and compiled by FCPS District Technology Resource Teachers.

      In this issue you can read our Regular Features by clicking on the arrow for the drop-down box.  After you make your choice, simply click Go there. 

      Regular Features include articles written by STLP students, a tip on recovering deleted items in email, red hot internet links, and examples of how some schools are integrating technology.  

      Additionally, this month you can discover what Ambrose Lab has to offer you as you plan your summer professional development technology training. You can check out websites that can magically draw students into reading for pleasure or into your instructional reading program.  Also, read about the Literacy and Technology Center developed by Athens Elementary.
