Creating Classroom Web Pages -- (Beginners) Learn the process of designing and creating a classroom web page ready to post to your school's web server.  A great way to communicate with students and parents: use MS FrontPage to create a classroom web page that brings the school and home together in a learning environment. PD credit) Excel: Spreadsheets and Databases -- For beginners, topics covered are: entering data, functions and formulas; editing information in cells; tips to selecting multiple cells in formulas; setting margins, printing gridlines and graphing data, organizing and enhancing workbooks with cell notes, text boxes; graphing data from worksheet; using Excel 2000 as a database; using an Excel 2000 database to perform mail merges.  Mark DiMascio

Using PowerPoint To Create A Jeopardy Game for Test Reviews -- In this make-and-take session, you will learn how to customize a ready-made PowerPoint template and use it to review test material with your students.  This is a must for every teacher who is looking for fun and new ways to prepare kids for tests.  If you can click, highlight, and change fonts like you do in Microsoft Word, then you will have no problem at all working in this class.  Everything in the PowerPoint template is done for you.  All that is required are the questions. Improving Your Web Page with Intermediate FrontPage Features -- Learn to use FrontPage features to ensure your web page is functioning more efficiently. This session is for participants who have established web pages and want to take them one step further.  Included will be: inserting date and time; inserting a file; inserting components such as scheduled picture and scheduled include page; replacing text; working with graphics; and using the site summary.  This session is NOT for beginners.

This session will help teachers learn how to use this web-based resource to foster literacy. Students can now walk through the steps of creating and submitting book reviews online.
