| Sam Conder,
LAN/WAN Manager
Sam,
a 5-year veteran of the Fayette County Office of Technology, was born and
raised right here in Lexington, Kentucky, graduating from Lafayette High
School in 1988. Before FCPS, he was the Microcomputer Support Specialist
(the computer guy) in the department of Design Engineering at Link-Belt
Construction Equipment Company. He holds an Associate in Applied Science in Computer Information
Systems from Lexington Community College. Sam has a reputation at FCPS as
a can-do computer guy, and hence finds himself frequently being tapped as
a trainer and technology leader.
When
he is not up to his ears in computers, Sam enjoys fishing, camping, and
". . . general outdoor mayhem." He dabbles in woodworking,
serving as a volunteer moderator
for Ryobi's
Power Tool Forum on-line. Sam, wife Adele, two sons David (5) and
Chase (3), and their new 9 week old Chocolate Lab Chaka, live on the
outskirts of Midway, KY.

Jenni Keith, Tech Resource Teacher
|
BJ and Jenni Keith, with Cameron (2nd, 3rd and 4th from left)
|
Mrs. Keith is a relative newcomer to Lexington, having
moved here in 1999. Her husband, BJ, found the advertisement for her present
position on the Internet, and she interviewed for the job through a
conference call to her office at Washington State University - an
appropriate beginning for her new Technology Resource Teacher job!
Jenni
was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. She has lived in Albuquerque,
New Mexico as well as Seattle and Pullman, Washington. She holds a BA in
Elementary Education from Washington State University, and an MA in
Curriculum & Instruction with Emphasis on Educational Technology from
Lesley College - a degree she earned in part through distance learning
(on-line classes). In Washington she was an elementary teacher before coming to Lexington.
Jenni and BJ
are the proud parents of 3 1/2 year old Cameron, and have
settled comfortably into life in central Kentucky. Making the trip from
Washington was a yellow lab, Dylan. Hawkeye, a ". . . good 'ol KY hound
dog," joined the family in Kentucky. ". . . Moving across
the country was quite challenging, but we've made good friends here, and
Lexington has become home for us."
Jenni serves Picadome Elementary, Garden Springs
Elementary, Julia R. Ewan Elementary, and Clays Mill Elementary, and her
Fayette County web home can be found at /trt3/.
