Northern Elementary STLP Gets Help from Eastside Computer Students!

Sydney, Northern Elementary Student Technology Leader, on the STLP there:

"It is a responsibility 8 people hold. You can’t join unless your behavior is good, turn in your homework, and have good attendance. If you make it on the news team you will be expected to be in the computer lab between 7:40 to 8:00. If you are on the news you will be seen school wide. That is over 400 people! You will have special activities like putting memory in on a computer. Overall we are all lucky to be on the Northern Knight News."

Hillary, Northern STL, on Eastside Vocational computer students' recent visit to Northern's STLP:

" When Eastside was here at Northern we basically worked on computers. First we were assigned two partners from Eastside to work with us. Then what we did was find three computers, and take them apart. The first two computers we did with them, then the last one we did by ourselves. And after that we went to 3-4 Classrooms (with our partners) and installed memory cards. Also while they were here, we did not know what to think of them, would they be nice, mean, bossy, smart, or dumb. All in all they were very nice, and SMART!!!"
