On this site you will find maps of every state and
of the entire United States that you can customize to suit your
needs. "In interpreting and illustrating events taking
place in some locations and not others, the use of shaded or
"color-contrasted" maps can be useful. This webform allows
you to choose up to six different groupings of states or counties -
along with your title, choice of colors and labels. A computer
program will then draw a map with your groupings shown in the
selected colors. The map can then either be printed or saved and
used later." |

listed. The site was developed by a professor at Wake Forest
for social studies teachers, but it would be useful for any content
