This web site gives kids a chance to practice spelling a variety of words from categories such as: In and Around the Home, What We Wear, What We Eat, How We Get There, and The Animal Kingdom.  It has sound and is interactive so it's fun for the kids.

The person playing the game runs a Lemonade Stand and has to make decisions about what to buy, how much to buy at a time, and what to sell it for.  The game helps reinforce the economic principles of Supply and Demand, Inventory Management, Purchasing, and Making a Profit.

This Interactive math site is the result of  a three-year NSF grant to Utah State University to develop a library of interactive, virtual manipulatives for mathematics instruction. The emphasis is on K-8, but it does include some high school content. The site is organized by content strand and grade level or you can search for what you need.
