NotestarTeachers looking for a way to organize and track the research their students do on the Internet will love NOTESTAR.  It helps students organize their research by creating topics and subtopics, as well as take and organize their notes and sources to create printable notes and a bibliography. Come to this session with a project in mind, and a class roster in hand and you will leave fully prepared to use this valuable tool with your classes. - with Lucinda Sanders 

Digital Video Editing for the Classroom April 12, 4:30-6:00
We'll look at video examples, discuss where digital video might be useful in instruction, and spend some time looking at the software which creates and edits this medium. Both Pinnacle Studio and Windows Movie MakerWindows Movie Maker will be examined. - with Jeff Jones

Digital Poetry April 13, 4:30-6:00
Lose the fear of teaching poetry using an innovative poetry lesson that integrates technology using a digital story format! During this professional development, presenters will give instructions on how to teach a poetry activity that includes whole group and individual instructional strategies. Following these strategies there will be a demonstration of how to digitize a poem.- with Diana Hendrix

This great instructional software package is great for group work, brainstorming, and organizational projects.  In this session you will learn the basics of using this program as a presentation tool and with your students.- with Ann Denny.
